More good vibes here

To be strong is to understand weakness. To be weak is to have fears. To have fears is to have something precious to you. To have something precious to you is to be strong.

I want to get more comfortable being uncomfortable. I want to get more confident being uncertain. I don’t want to shrink back just because something isn’t easy. I want to push back, and make more room in the area between I can’t and I can.

The sun is perfect and you woke this morning. You have enough language in your mouth to be understood. You have a name, and someone wants to call it. Five fingers on your hand and someone wants to hold it. If we just start there, every beautiful thing that has and will ever exist is possible. If we start there, everything, for a moment, is right in the world.

"How Not To React When Your Son Is Gay"

My heart breaks while watching this video. If you’re reading this and need support, please contact The Trevor Project. They are the leading national organization for crisis & suicide prevention - they are there to talk, 24/7 - confidential and free.

This completely enrages me. This type of ignorance goes beyond anything I’ve ever dealt with. I feel so bad for anyone who doesn’t understand that because you aren’t just like everyone else and because you want to be open about who you are, they disown you. When I have children one day they will never be raised to think being homosexual is wrong. Every single person lives a different life and some things in life you don’t have control over and should not be judged based on it. Get over homophobia, or go fuck yourself.
